Honey Vs. honey

The first movie Honey and the sequel are so different, when I first watched the sequel it  almost felt like I wasn't watching honey it felt like I was watching a movie similar to step up 2, even though the sequel is meant to be different it is sort of still needs to be in-line with the first, honestly the first movie was better there was Honey Daniels a dancer who was an aspiring choreographer, who helps and cares about  the kids in  her community by giving them a place to go which is a dance studio.

The first movie was inspiring to think that we only need someone to believe in us and a good place to be to have a better life, the sequel wasn’t bad it just wasn't as good as the original, a girl who gets out of juvenile detention who joins her boyfriends crew and leave's it, because she doesn't want to live that life any more and  goes to another crew, to dance battle against her ex-boyfriend and falls for one of her team mates.

Overall the  sequel was disappointing  because there are a number of movie's about dance groups, but there  aren't as many about  making it on your own, the original was better because there is more drama about getting “blackballed” in the industry, meaning it will stop your career because no one wants to hire you and what are you going do about it if that happens, give up or keep dancing.

Diary of a wimpy kid vs Diary of a wimpy kid Roderick rules

The first and the second movie were good, they were both hilarious the first movie was really good because Greg is so determined not to be a unpopular but it is going to be hard when his best friend Rowley doesn't get how to be cool but its good in the movie how Greg tries to hard to be popular but it doesn’t work out for him at all and that Rowley doesn’t even try and he becomes popular it’s a funny twist.

The movie  really makes that you don't have to try so hard, the first movie makes you realises that you got to be happy for your friends and not be jealous of them or else you will be bitter and it could damage your friendship.

The sequel is even more hilarious its good because Greg gets along with his older brother Roderick who tries to get back at him  just for the fact that he is his older brother and how they become close, overall the the first movie and the sequel were great how Greg narrow rates how bad he thinks his life is.

The help

The help is a spectacular movie I love it because in the movie you can really empathise and sympathise for the help because it is a real struggle to look after someone's else's children, whilst your own children are at home.

The movie is sad because the help can't even use the bathroom even though they take better care of the kids they look after  then the children's own mothers who don’t even act like good mothers but act like socialites who gossip about others.

The movie has humour and drama and it is inspiring how even though the help don’t get any respect from some of the women they work for, the kids they've looked after, grow to respect them and love them because they have raised them and its good because when those kids have grown up they have learned to get along with different people, so if you can't change what the parents think of you, you can change what the kids think of you.

What things you will likely see in a movie

In a lot of moves you will most likely see rivalry of territory, a "rookie" who is new to the area who has moved houses, who tries to join a group and tries prove herself or himself to gain respect and be apart of something. In a lot of moves you will mostly likely see depending on what type of genre it is is, it is always about getting the girl whether it is trying to get someone else's girl or getting your own girl. In a lot of movie you will most likely also see the good guy or the good girl always win, is it so wrong for that the bad guy or girl to win just once I'm not talking about letting them take over the world but its get boring when you can predict what will happen in the movie, you need to be surprised.

MEAN GIRLS VS MEAN GIRLS 2

It's sad to say but sequel didn't' leave up to the first because in the first movie the mean girls actually emulated mean girls who were popular and who were envied by others and who knew everything about everyone and wrote it in their burn book.

The first movie had humour, but in the sequel there wasn't much humour and although the cast of girls had fresh faces their attempts to be means girls was disappointing and petty.

The movie lacked more drama because high school is one big drama. The sequel had jealous which wasn't in line for a mean girl to be jealous of someone else.

Overall the plot was better in the first movie - a new girl Cady Heron who befriends two social outcasts who convince her to plot against Regina George. What made the movie so good was that Cady was a naive little home school girl who enters "girl world" and plots against Regina George to cut off all her resources such as her friends, her good physique and boyfriends and ends up turning into a mean girl herself.

FRIGHT NIGHT 1985 VS FRIGHT NIGHT 2011
The old fright night compared to the remake, the original was more suspenseful as Charlie discovers his secret and tries to tell others but ends up being the boy who cried wolf.

The remake Charlie didn't discover his neighbor's secret but on the other hand it was really good in the movie when school kids in Charlie's neighborhood started to disappear and how Jerry tries to befriend Charlie to get an invitation into his house.

Overall the remake was really good but it lacked the suspense and mystery such as Jerry turning into a bat and also the mystery in the end of the movie where there were glowing eyes in the dark leaving the audience wondering and asking questions, the remake was more gruesome, the remake did live up to the original.

What things make a movie good

I know that everyone has their own opinion about what makes tips make a movie good or bad, I watch a lot of movies myself and here are my tips.

Really strong character development -In a movie there needs to be strong character development, I feel like in the first thirty minutes into the movie you need to know the character well, you need to know the characters behavior their story, what they stand for. For example: In Madea's family reunion I believe there is really strong character development because I know Madea also known as Mabel Simmons she is an old lady that doesn't take no lip from no one, and if you miss with her she will definitely get even.

Benefiting message-In a movie there needs to be a benefiting message in the movie something you can apply to a real life situation. For example: One of my favourite messages is in Madea's big happy family when Madea talks about forgiveness you have to forgive people for yourself if you don't they will take power over you.

Problem-In the movie there needs to be a problem that the main characters needs to resolve, a problem that the main character struggles with so the audience can relate to the character because everyone deals with issues they need to resolve. For example: In the movie diary of a mad black woman the problem is Helen loved her husband, Charles she even signed a prenup to prove her love he alienated her from her family and friends and then he left her for another woman.

Solution-In the movie there needs to be a solution to whatever problem the character is facing, in other words a happy ending for the character. For example in the movie the hot chick the happy ending is Jessica ends up in her right body
