The first movie Honey and the sequel are so different, when I first watched the sequel it almost felt like I wasn't watching honey it felt like I was watching a movie similar to step up 2, even though the sequel is meant to be different it is sort of still needs to be in-line with the first, honestly the first movie was better there was Honey Daniels
a dancer who was an aspiring choreographer, who helps and cares about the
kids in her community by giving them a place to go which is a dance
studio.
The first movie was inspiring to think that we only need
someone to believe in us and a good place to be to have a better life, the sequel
wasn’t bad it just wasn't as good as the original, a girl who gets out of
juvenile detention who joins her boyfriends crew and leave's it, because she doesn't want to live that life any more and goes to another crew, to dance battle against her ex-boyfriend and falls for one of her team mates.
Overall the sequel was disappointing because there are a number of movie's about dance groups, but there aren't as many about making it on your
own, the original was better because there is more drama about getting
“blackballed” in the industry, meaning it will stop your career
because no one wants to hire you and what are you going do about it if that happens, give up or keep dancing.
